Our bussers are crucial in creating 100% customer satisfaction by providing a clean dining area bussing tables in an efficient and courteous manner. They are tasked with providing food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant and contributing to the sip. Wine Bar house mission to provide extraordinary food and beverage experience.

Responsibilities

  • Replenishes water; makes and pours coffee
  • Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
  • Performs regular table maintenance throughout guest visit
  • Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
  • Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
  • Resets table quickly
  • Restocks bussing stations regularly by polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with china, glassware, ice and clearing trays
  • When assigned, delivers food from kitchen to appropriate tables
  • Completes side work as assigned
  • Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Continual communication with members of dining room team, culinary team, and management
  • Maintains an attitude of service excellence
  • Identifies guest needs and responds with respect
  • Uses guest friendly body language and positive words
  • Practices excellent service at every guest contact point
  • Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Responds to difficult situations and guests with care
  • Exceeds guest expectations by anticipating needs and acting quickly

Requirements

  • Must represent sip. Wine Bar’s Vision and Values
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment preferred
  • Loves Guest service!
  • Hard-working, team player
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
  • Ability to work within the following conditions wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
  • Ability to perform essential functions to sip. Wine Bar’s standards with reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
