Aromas of sweet blackberry, ripe black currant, and freshly ground espresso are framed by bittersweet cocoa nib and very subtle baking spices. These richly dry flavors saturate the palate and are offset by pronounced minerality from the complex volcanic soils of Knights Valley. Brisk tannins and elevated acidity balance the sweetness of the fruit, driving to a very long finish.
