chronic cellars purple passion, red blend, Purple Paradise is a Zinfandel-dominated blend with tasting notes of jammy blackberry fruit, cherry cola, and hints of mocha and lavender. It is described as having a deep and dark color with balanced acidity and mild tannins that lead to a blissful finish. A review from James Suckling notes that it is "deep and dark-fruited with toasted spices, smoked cedar, nut shell and earth," and "full-bodied, and compact with juicy acidity and polished tannins," with a "deep and lengthy fruit character with notes of blueberry jam."
